Perempuan di Tanahnya (On Her Own Land)

Irene Fatagur, a farmer and a mother living in Keerom district, Papua, is in the middle of a land conflict with a state-owned palm oil plantation company that wants to take over her land.

She's been resisting offers from the company as well as from others, mostly men, who are pressuring her to sell her land and move away. She shares her struggles and hopes for the future.

This documentary by Kristina Soge and Dion Kafudji received 3rd Place at the Papua Film Festival (FFP) III 2019 held in Sorong.

Film ini bercerita tentang pengalaman Irene Fatagur, seorang perempuan asal Arso kabupaten Keerom di tengah konflik tanah setelah 36 tahun perkebunan kelapa sawit PTPN II masuk di wilayahnya.
