Not All Villagers Are Separatist Guerrilla Soldiers

Through this video, Ence Geong Staf of Human Rights Organisation Yayasan Teratai Hati Papua (Lotus Heart Papua Foundation) tells the audience that Traumatised Papuan villagers are hiding from the Indonesian military in the Nduga Regency in Papua Province of Indonesia. The region saw a renewed stretch of violence since December 2018, after the separatist West Papua Liberation Army had killed more than two dozen construction workers. Following the incident, the Indonesian army launched a crackdown among the villages to hunt members of the separatist organisation.
