Protect Malaumkarta Beach

Moi, also known as Malamoi, is a tribe that resides in Sorong, the largest city in the Indonesian province of West Papua. The island of Raja Ampat near their residential area in Sorong has the world's most diverse marine life. However, the garbage, particularly plastic bottles left by tourists and locals from the nearby beaches, have been increasing every day, destroying its ecosystems.

Some members of the local youth from the Moi Tribe conducted a coastal cleanup in 2018 to increase awareness and protect the environment.
